New Year, New Job? Maybe you’re just the person we’re looking for!

Come join our staff! Photo courtesy of The Oswego Review

Oswego Optique is looking for an optometric technician and we will train the right person!

We are a private, two doctor practice with an emphasis on quality eye care and eyewear. Primary focus would be checking-in patients and running them through the pre-testing procedures. Checking insurance coverage, scheduling, and other reception/front-office tasks are required.

Personality is key – we need someone who
** likes to work with the public
** is professional, outgoing, and friendly
** has good computer skills, comfortable with reception work

Multi-tasking is expected – reception, patient pre-testing, and optical work are cross-trained so you will become familiar with all aspects of working in a private optometric practice. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas would be helpful: ophthalmic technician, receptionist, or optical – but personality is more important than experience – we want a friendly face greeting and working with our patients and customers!

Please send resume to us at We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
